The worst part about Campbell going is that he was supposed to make McLaren obsolete. Now, his lower body injuries from the end of this past season may do that anyway (at least for the beginning of this season), but that now leaves the Sharks two Rivets away from having a respectable defensive line up instead of just being one Rivet away.

While this sucks, I'm not totally depressed because I still think Vlasic, Carle, Murray and even Ehrhoff will improve. And if that doesn't work out, most of them are young enough where they have the value the Sharks can trade them for something more ready in the present.
